Is Nira Fit medical advice?

No. Nira Fit is a general-wellness tool for healthy adults 18+. Plans and chat answers are AI-generated estimates and are not reviewed by a professional. Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before changing your diet if you have a medical condition.

Do I need anyone else to use Nira Fit?

No. Nira Fit builds a personalized calorie, macro, and meal plan for you with AI, and you can log meals, track progress, and ask questions to the AI assistant in the app.

Can I track my weight and progress?

Yes. Nira Fit shows daily calorie and macro rings, weight and body measurement trends, a logging streak, and week-to-week comparisons.

Can I track supplements and exercise?

Yes. You can log your supplements by time and your weekly exercise routine, with reminders to keep you on track.

Can I get my meal plan as a PDF?

Yes. You can download your complete meal plan in PDF format to view offline or print.

Privacy Policy

Nira Fit ("Nira Fit," "we," "us," or "our") is a general-wellness app for adults that creates AI-generated meal plans, helps you log food and track progress, and answers nutrition questions with an AI coach. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, who receives it, and the choices you have. Nira Fit is not a medical service and is not a substitute for a doctor or registered dietitian.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. Name, email address and password, or the identifier provided by Google or Apple if you sign in with them. A profile photo is optional.

Health, body and fitness information you give us. Date of birth (we require you to be 18 or older), sex, height, weight over time and target weight, goal, activity level, food allergies and foods to avoid, and an optional yes/no answer to a health screening question (we store only whether weight-loss planning is not appropriate for you, not which condition applies). This is sensitive health-related data and we treat it that way.

What you log. Meals, food photos, water, exercise, supplements, daily check-ins and notes, and your meal plans, which include calorie and macro targets we calculate from your profile.

AI coach conversations. The messages you send to the AI coach and its replies.

Reports about AI content. If you report an AI answer, we store the report reason, your optional note and an excerpt of the answer so we can review it.

Health Connect / Apple Health (optional). If you connect it in the mobile app, we read steps, exercise minutes and active calories from the last 7 days to show them next to your plan. We do not write to Apple Health or Health Connect, do not sell this data, do not use it for advertising and do not share it with data brokers. You can disconnect at any time in Settings or in your phone's health settings.

Device and usage information. Language and unit preferences, app theme, a push-notification identifier if you enable reminders, approximate location derived from your IP address (used only to suggest a default language), and app usage and diagnostic events. We use Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to fix problems; analytics events can be linked to your account.

Payments. Nira Fit is currently free and we do not collect payment information. If that changes we will update this policy and, where required, ask you again.

2. How We Use Information

To create and adjust your meal plan and targets, track your logs and progress, and send reminders you turn on.
To provide AI features: generating your plan, estimating calories and macros from a food photo or description, and answering your questions in the AI coach chat.
To keep the service safe: applying calorie limits, filtering your listed allergens out of AI meal suggestions, and showing support resources if a chat message suggests self-harm or disordered eating. This is done by automated rules; people do not read your chats for this purpose.
To review reports of unsafe or inaccurate AI content, to secure the service and to fix bugs.
We do not use your health data for advertising and we do not sell it.

3. AI Processing and Your Consent

To generate your plan, chat replies and photo estimates, Nira Fit sends the relevant information to a third-party AI service operated through our application platform: your profile details (age, sex, height, weight, goal, activity level, allergies), your logs, your messages and the food photo you submit. We ask for your explicit consent before the first time we do this, and you can withdraw it any time in Settings; AI features then stop working. The provider processes the data to return a result for us and is not permitted to use it for its own purposes. AI output can be wrong, is not reviewed by a person and is not medical advice.

4. How Information Is Shared

We share information only with service providers that help us run Nira Fit: our application hosting and database platform (Base44), the AI service described above, analytics (Google Analytics / Firebase), push notifications (OneSignal) and our mobile app wrapper (Median). They receive what they need to perform their function. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect people's safety. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context advertising.

5. Retention and Deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time in the app (Settings, Account, Delete my account) or at nirafit.com/delete-account. Deletion is immediate and removes your profile, plans, logs, photos' records, chats, reports, health-connection records and your login. Backups and provider-side copies are overwritten on the provider's normal cycle, generally within 30 days. We may keep a record we are legally required to keep. Photos and files you uploaded are stored with a link that is hard to guess but not behind a login; deleting your account removes our references to them.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You can view and edit your profile in Settings, withdraw AI consent, disconnect Health Connect / Apple Health, turn notifications off and delete your account. Depending on where you live (including Mexico, the EU/UK and California) you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, port or object to the processing of your data. Email us to exercise these rights.

7. Children

Nira Fit is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information. No system is completely secure.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including the United States, by us and by the providers listed above.

10. Changes

If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
